XRF Sample Cup Work Stations & Tray
Chemplex® XRF Sample Cup Work Stations provide the analyst with an orderly means for handling sample cups after affixing thin-film sample support windows, preventing contamination of the thin-film by eliminating contact with a counter top surface and facilitating the sample filling procedure with Transfer Pipettes.
The XRF Sample Cup Work trays provide the analyst with an orderly means for handling and storing pressed pellets and fused beads.

Chemplex XRF Sample Cup Work Stations provide the analyst with an orderly means for handling sample cups after affixing thin-film sample support windows, preventing contamination of the thin-film by eliminating contact with a counter top surface and facilitating the sample filling procedure with Transfer Pipettes.
A work station consists of one or six individual conical shaped cavities that allow acceptance of any size sample cups of the same or dissimilar diameters ranging from 24 mm to 45 mm. The conical shape of the cavity allows the smaller diameter sample cups to rest lower into the cavity than the larger sample cup diameters while maintaining the sample cups level in position. Multiple cavity work stations allow for the advanced preparation of a large number of samples in readiness for transporting to the instrumentation for x-ray analysis and a means of storage for future referral.
Model 1360 XRF Single Sample Cup Work Station
This single position cavity work station is 3" (76 mm) in diameter and will accept any sample cup within 24 to 45 mm in diameter. The small compact size work station is suitable for instruments designed for single sample accommodation with adequate time in between analysis for preparing additional samples.
Model 1370 Multiple XRF Sample Cup Work Station
This multi-cavity work station is 3” wide x 12.5” long (7.6 cm x 31.65 cm) and will accept any combination of different sample cups within 24 to 45 mm in diameter. There are six cavities in a single row with sequential numbers stamped in white adjacent to each cavity for identification purposes. Ideally suitable for use with instruments that accommodate multiple samples and for laboratories equipped with additional instruments that may be assigned their own work stations for convenience and to avoid potential inadvertent confusions. The 1370 is fabricated from black anodized aluminum
Model 1380 Multiple XRF Sample Cup Work Station
This multi-cavity work station is 6” wide x 12.5” long (15.2 cm x 31.65 cm) and will accept any combination of different sample cups within 24 to 45 mm in diameter. There are 12 cavities in a double row with sequential numbers stamped in white adjacent to each cavity for identification purposes. Ideally suitable for use with instruments that accommodate multiple samples and for laboratories equipped with additional instruments that may be assigned their own work stations for convenience and to avoid potential inadvertent confusions. The 1380 is fabricated from black anodized aluminum.
Model 1390 Multiple XRF Sample Work Tray
This multi-cavity work station/tray measuring 8.8" wide x 15.2" long (22.4cm x 38.5cm) containing forty (40) multi-sized cavities. Each cavity has four (4) concentric sample position diameters of 0.787" (20mm), 1.0" (25.4mm), 1.3" (33mm) and 1.65" (42mm). The XRF Sample Work Trays easily stack on each other for holding multiples of 40 samples per tray. They are constructed from durable plastic.
A work station consists of one or more individually conical shaped concavities that allow acceptance of any size sample cups of the same or dissimilar diameters ranging from 0.94” (24mm) to 1.78” (45mm). All of them feature a conical shaped cavity that allows the smaller diameter sample cups to rest lower into the cavity than the larger sample cup diameters while maintaining the sample cups level in position. Multi-cavity work stations allow for the advanced preparation of a large number of samples in readiness for transporting to the instrumentation for x-ray analysis and a means for storage for future referral. The Single Sample Cup Workstation has a compact size and is suitable for instruments designed for single sample accommodations with adequate time in between analysis for preparing additional samples. The Multiple Sample Cup Workstations have numbered cavities for identification purposes. Ideally suitable for use with instruments that accommodates multiple samples and for laboratories equipped with multiple instruments for convenience and to avoid potential inadvertent sample mis-identifications. |
